Having spent the last 20 years running, he has progressed to marathon level, with a best of 2:40 and continues to improve his performance in races, despite reaching his forties. Consequently, a lot of his consultations relate to running, improving performance and injury prevention as well as his other physical therapy treatments. He also has a keen interest in running form.

As running continues to grow as a sport in Ireland, as well as a past-time, injury rates are on the increase. Understanding the biomechanics of running is essential in uncovering the causes of injury, as are, an athletes training history, lifestyle and stresses.

Having lived in Portarlington for the past 10 years, he set up his own practice in Coolaghy in 2014. Since then he has been treating regular clients from the local vicinity and as far as Counties Wicklow, Kilkenny, Dublin, Kildare and Offaly. You can read some of his reviews and case studies.
